Mango Chia Seed Yogurt
My daughter Hannah has been eating these mango chia seed yogurt jars on repeat all summer. The perfect combination of sweet and tart and perfect to meal prep at the beginning of the week. As written these jars are 11 Weight Watchers points, but by swapping out the vanilla yogurt for plain nonfat Greek yogurt, brings these jars down to 3 Weight Watchers points. Just a note though, they won’t be as sweet.
Chia Seeds
Chia seeds may be tiny, but they pack a big nutritional punch. They are loaded with fiber, plant-based protein, and omega-3s. The magic happens when you let them “bloom,” which simply means soaking them in liquid before eating. In this case, the yogurt blooms the chia seeds.
When chia seeds absorb liquid, they swell up and develop a gel-like coating, making them easier to digest and allowing your body to access their nutrients more efficiently. Blooming also helps prevent them from expanding in your stomach and causing discomfort. Whether you mix them into overnight oats, pudding, water, or a smoothie, giving chia seeds time to bloom will take your recipes (and your digestion!) to the next level.

FlavCity Protein Powder
I’ve tried just about every protein powder on the market. Seriously, if there was a frequent buyer punch card, I’d be a VIP by now. And after all that taste testing (and a few regrettable digestive adventures), FlavCity is hands down my favorite. It’s not just the clean ingredients or the 25 grams of protein per serving, but the fact that it doesn’t send me running to the bathroom five minutes later like some other brands have. My stomach is happy, my taste buds are happy, and my protein goals are happy. If you want to try it, my code Bizzy15 saves you 15% at shopflavcity.com until December 2025 (just note it won’t work on seasonal or limited-release items). The vanilla is 160 calories, 25 grams of protein, 7 net carbs and 4 Weight Watchers points.
New Here?
If you are new here, welcome to My Bizzy Kitchen! I started this blog 16 years ago to document my recipes and daily life, never imagining it would one day become my full-time career. After losing my husband nearly 10 years ago, I navigated the hardest chapter of my life while still finding joy in cooking and sharing my journey.
In December 2020, I took a leap of faith and left my 30-year career as a legal secretary to pursue My Bizzy Kitchen full-time, a decision that changed my life.
Two years later, in October 2022, I was able to hire my daughter, Hannah, full-time, which brings me so much joy. Now, My Bizzy Kitchen is more than just recipes. It’s about embracing life, finding balance, and making healthy living sustainable and fun.
